The BAKFlip G2 Bed Cover proves that a pickup bed cover can be both stylish and functional. This all-aluminum cover keeps the bed and its contents dry, reduces wind resistance to improve fuel economy, and provides full access to the bed without removing the truck.
CONVENIENT FOLDING DESIGN
One of the most attractive features of the BAKFlip G2 is that it can be completely folded and securely locked to the truck while driving, even at high speeds. This means you can haul large cargo without having to remove the entire cover. Simply unzip each panel, stack them on top of each other, and flip them back so they sit vertically behind the cab of your truck.
Then lift the support rods attached to the frame rails, slide the cover brackets down onto the rods, and tighten the knobs on the brackets to secure the vertical cover in place. The rubber bumpers on the cover prevent it from leaving marks on the cabin or scratching the rear window of the cabin. When the cover is in this position, your car's third brake light will remain visible.
If you want to maintain visibility out the rear window, you can secure the folded panels without pressing them against the cab using the included straps and buckles. Simply fold the first two panels of the cover, leaving the panel closest to the cab locked in place. Make sure both buckle clips are inserted into the ends of the buckles on the front panel, and adjust the straps to ensure a secure fit.
EASY TO USE
The BAKFlip G2 is easy to operate. To unlock the rear panel, open the tailgate and pull either of the two cords located along the bottom corners of the panel housing. Either cord will release both built-in latches, allowing you to lift the panel. To unlock the second and third panels, pull the easily accessible cords built into the corners of those panels.
To close the lid, simply fold the panels back down. Each panel will lock securely in place under its own weight. When the tailgate is closed and locked, no one can get in and open the lid, protecting your truck bed and its contents. The rugged aluminum construction also prevents anyone from removing the lid from the sides or cutting through the center, providing added security.
POWERFUL AND RELIABLE DESIGN
The BAKFlip G2's rugged design makes it the perfect solution for your truck, no matter what you do for work or play. It's strong enough to support up to 135 kilograms of evenly distributed weight when folded, so it can support your weight whether you're sitting or standing on it.
Each 1.3cm thick stainless aluminum panel has an insulated core made from high-quality closed-cell foam, creating a tough, heavy-duty shell. The black paint is UV-resistant and provides corrosion protection.
The frame rails are constructed from aircraft-grade, rust-proof aluminum and feature a sleek, black, corrosion-resistant powder coat finish. Glass-filled, aluminum-bodied nylon latches and round hinges ensure the cover will operate smoothly for the life of the cover. And matte black rubber seals run around the entire perimeter of the cover to prevent water from seeping into the bed. If water does leak out, it will flow through a gutter system built into the frame rails and out through drain tubes mounted behind the cab.
EASY INSTALLATION WITHOUT DRILLING
Installation of the G2 is simple. All you need is a wrench, and there is no need to drill anything. The tonneau cover rails attach to the inside of the pickup bed side rails, forming the base for the cover. Included bolts secure the front hinge to the cab frame rails. Slotted brackets on the hinge rail allow the bolts to move if necessary to adjust the cover for a tight fit.
BAKBox 2
FOLDABLE & EASILY ACCESSIBLE
Full access to the body can be gained in seconds by simply folding the BAKBox 2 towards the front of the body. Access to the BAKBox 2 is possible from either side of the vehicle. When opened, latches automatically lock the box in place, making it easier to use.
SAFE DESIGN, ORGANIZED PICKUP BODY & WIDE VARIETY OF USES
The BAKBox 2 will be secured and hidden when the BakFlip or Revolver trunk lid is fully closed and the trunk door is locked, ensuring a tight fit and maximum protection. The BAKBox 2 is 25 cantimeters deep and 25 cantimeters tall, and can hold up to 90 kilograms while keeping everything secure and elevated off the floor of your pickup truck. A pull-out tray is included for even more organization. The BAKBox 2 is great for outdoor events. Fill it with ice and use it as a cooler or shelf to store items on the truck bed.
