The Extang Xceed is built from ultra-durable aluminum panels capable of supporting up to 500 lbs (227 kg) of evenly distributed weight without bending or sagging. These panels are coated in Extang’s signature EnduraCoat vinyl, which prevents corrosion and gives the cover a smooth matte black finish that perfectly matches modern truck aesthetics.
Water resistance is top-tier, with EPDM rubber seals lining the bulkhead, bed rails, and tailgate. These seals create a tight barrier that keeps moisture out of the bed. The universal tailgate seal allows the tailgate to be opened or closed independently of the cover’s position.
The Xceed also features a tamper-resistant rotary latch system, offering excellent theft protection. With the tailgate locked, your cargo is safer under the Xceed than inside your cab.
Operation is intuitive: simply pull the underside rotary latch to release the rear locks, then fold the cover forward to expose about two-thirds of your bed. You can secure it in this position using the integrated straps or fold it up one more time and prop it vertically against the cab window using the included support rods.
