TOUGH GUARD hood deflector design

The aggressively styled look of the deflector adds strength and protection to the SUV and is organically combined with the form and function of the truck. Constructed from materials selected to complement your pickup's existing features, the deflector features stainless steel dummy bolts.
WHAT IS IT NEEDED FOR?
The main function of the deflector is to protect the front part of the hood from mechanical damage, chips and scratches caused by stones and other small objects that fly out from under the wheels of cars driving ahead. The design of the deflector creates an upward flow of oncoming air flow to reduce contamination of the windshield and wiper blades.
CONSTRUCTION FEATURES
In order for the deflector to really protect the hood and windshield from damage, its shape is designed with aerodynamics in mind, and for reliable installation on the hood, it must match its shape. Therefore, deflectors are developed individually for each car brand.

DEFLECTOR MATERIAL
The hard hood deflectors are made of impact-resistant ABS plastic with an extruded acrylic surface for a great look. ABS is a particularly strong material with good physical properties. It is resistant to temperature changes and does not lose its qualities in the range of -90 +120. Resistant to aggressive environment, corrosion and oxidation. Acrylic is also the material used in car taillights and headlights and provides a surface that will never fade or lose color.
EASY TO INSTALL
The design of the deflector is designed in such a way that it is easy to install without any effort. Safe installation does not require drilling the hood. The structure is installed using ZM automotive tape, patented fastening clips and stainless steel bolts.
